In 1911 Tony Lama was a soldier for the United States Calvary at Fort Bliss, Texas. He hand crafted boots for the soldiers at Fort Bliss. His expertise as a custom bootmaker spread among the cowboys and ranchers of west Texas. This is a continuation of a legend of the Old West.
